Families
FAMILY SUPPORT AND RESOURCES: South High School is proud to have the largest alumni base in Central Ohio, with over 30,000 graduates who continue to support and celebrate the Bulldog legacy. Families play an active role in student success and are encouraged to stay involved through volunteer opportunities, school events, and ongoing communication with staff. At South, we work together to create a welcoming, inclusive environment where every student feels supported—at home and at school.
COMMUNITY PARTNERSHIPS: At South High School, community partnerships play a key role in preparing students for success beyond graduation. Through internships and service opportunities at local elementary schools, churches, recreation centers, and businesses, students gain real-world experience and give back to their community. Support from organizations like Nationwide Children’s Hospital, Columbus State Community College, I Know I Can, City Year, and Communities In Schools connects students with mentoring, college readiness, and career pathways. These partnerships help students build skills, confidence, and a clear vision for their future.
